-Uruguay: Proposed Bill to Establish an Individual Income Tax




Key issues:
    The Uruguayan Executive Power sent to the Parliament for its consideration a bill that, if approved, will establish the creation of an individual income tax, among other important regulations that seek the reform of the Uruguayan tax system in force.

    The new tax on Uruguayan-source income would apply to income from capital (at a rate of 10%) and income from personal services (at rates from 10% to 25%)
